GET TO KNOW ME
Here to Guide You
I'm a psychologist based in London - here to guide you through life's most complex and difficult matters. I truly care about my patients' wellbeing and guarantee psychological services catered to their needs.
I often say I've been 'training' for this job my entire life and beyond. I have lived experience of some of humanity's most profound struggles and crises, including intergenerational and relational trauma, oppression, and more. Finding a way out of life's dead ends was not easy but undeniably transformational - extremely rewarding, empowering, and enlightening. During one such critical moment in life, I decided to change my career and become a psychologist to help myself and others by sharing my expertise. I studied for an MSc in Psychology at the University of Westminster and after graduation started working as a Recovery Worker in a Crisis Mental Health Service in London. I have been providing specialised therapeutic services to those dealing with challenging life circumstances and have made it my area of expertise. MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Experience You Can Count On
March 2020 - October 2020
TROUBLED IN LIFE
Outcast in a country I did not want to live in, not satisfied with my job as an ESL teacher, recovering from a relationship break-up, and struggling to forgive my parents and the world for the damage caused (just to mention a few hardships here), I decided to get counselling for the first time in my life. The experience was positive and transformational. It inspired me to pursue a new career and become a mental health professional myself.
October 2021 - October 2022
FULL-TIME PSYCHOLOGY RESEARCHER
The MSc course and research I conducted covered a wide range of topics in psychology. I obtained a qualification recognised by the British Psychological Society which allowed me to become a Psychologist and a member of the BPS.
September 2023 - Present
CRISIS RECOVERY WORKER
My psychological career started by being thrown in at the deep end. As a Recovery Worker I would provide support to people in acute crisis and in need of immediate help. Working in the vicinity of the City of London at a Walk-in Crisis Mental Health Service collaborating with NHS and open 365 days a year prepared me to be ready to deal with the most profound human crises on the spot.
